The Queenscliffe Community Market (QCM) committee are responsible for all decisions made regarding the operations of the QCM. The QCM committee conduct a monthly review of all stallholders to ensure they still meet the homemade, home baked or homegrown criteria and assess any feedback that has been provided throughout the market season. Stallholders are not guaranteed a site from month to month.
- QCM is a non-refundable market.
- No scheduled Market will be cancelled due to inclement weather.
- Sites are not transferable.
- Market times 9am – 2pm.
Bump in 7am - 8:30am. Bump out after 2pm.
- Not attending or running late? leave a message on 0408 340 932 or email info@queenscliffemarket.com.au. With no notification your site may be allocated to another stallholder after 8.30am.
- All products must be homemade, home baked or homegrown locally produced items.
The market DOES NOT admit stalls which sell:
- second hand or bric-a-brac / white elephant goods
- bottled water or soft drinks (unless home-made)
- art/craft, homewares, toys or clothing items which are commercially available
- goods which are not made in Australia by the stallholder
Stalls are assessed each month to adhere to these guidelines.

- No commercial drinks such as soft drinks, bottled water and juice packs to be sold.
- Casual applications are assessed on a month-by-month basis. Casual stall-holders are not guaranteed that a site will be available each month or that you will be allocated the same site.
- Stallholders can purchase Queenscliffe Community Market insurance at a cost of $10 per market, on top of their site fee. Or stallholders must provide evidence of Public Liability Insurance with a minimum $10 Million cover.

Casual Takeaway Food vendors rate $54 (for vans less than 4.5m excluding tow vehicle)
Casual Takeaway Food vendors double site rate $108 (for vans longer than 4.5m excluding tow vehicle)
Food vendors include coffee vans and all stalls/vans selling food for consumption on site, excludes prepackaged goods sold for consumption at home e.g. jam, olive oil etc.
- Single site 3.5 metres width by 8 metres depth
Double site 7 metres width by 8 metres depth
Single site Takeaway Food is 5 metres width and 8 metre depth
- Stallholders provide their own trestles, tables, chairs and marquees.
Note no water or power is supplied to sites.
All signage and displays must be kept within the allocated site.
- Food vendors: all food handling, WorkCover and Borough of Queenscliffe requirements must be met.
Registering of a temporary or mobile food business is required under the Food Act and must be completed through FoodTrader. Visit foodtrader.vic.gov.au

- The market is a non-smoking, non-vaping site.

Market Dates
The Market is held on the last Sunday of the Month from September to May. The remaining 2024/2025 season dates are:
